Muhammad Ibrahim Khan is the visionary behind LexLata Consultants and Chambers. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the International Islamic University, Islamabad, and a Master of Laws from the University of Amsterdam, where he became the first Pakistani to receive the prestigious Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship, graduating with honors.

- Conducted a research project on behalf of the Centre for Research on Multinational Corporations (SOMO) and Western Sahara Resource Watch (WSRH) regarding the liability of corporate companies indirectly violating human rights obligations.
- Investigated the legal implications of the salt imported from Western Sahara to the Netherlands by a Dutch company from the disputed Western Sahara territory, misleadingly labeled as Moroccan, which would provide an ample basis to begin legal proceedings against the company; and if so, whether to proceed by filing a criminal complaint or a human rights complaint against this company domestically, by filing a tort claim against the company, by using the preliminary reference procedure in an attempt to bring the case before the European Court of Justice, or by filing a complaint to the Dutch National Contact Point.

Resident’s Committee Amsterdam Science Park, President
During my stay in Amsterdam, noticing the lack of a resident’s committee in my student housing complex to voice tenants’ concerns and grievances, I took the sole initiative of creating one as a bridge connecting the tenants, the housing association, and the tenant’s association. Today, the committee has more than a dozen members and is involved in organizing various events.
US Ambassador’s Youth Council, Advisor
- The Council directly advises Embassy officials on issues important to Pakistani youth, conducts projects, and meets with think tanks and policymakers.
- Moderated a meeting with the US Ambassador regarding topics such as social media usage issues in Pakistan, opportunities for youth, and climate change at the US Embassy, Islamabad.
- Led a social project by convening a consultation session at the US Embassy on the problems of the transgender community in Pakistan with the leading NGOs.
Youth Parliament Pakistan, PILDAT
- Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency runs the first-of-its-kind YPP to inculcate the culture and values of democracy in youth and to prepare them for future leadership roles. Sixty parliamentarians are selected from all over Pakistan through a multi-stage selection process to get training from experts and draft reports.
- Prepared and presented a report on electoral reforms to curb rigging and lapses in the Pakistani electoral system.
- Raised awareness on the status of religious minorities; a report was published and presented on both print and electronic media.
